In Junior Infants in our maths lessons, we have been discussing the idea of sets as group of objects or materials. We decided to look at sets identifying the odd one out, grouping objects based on colour and then finally grouping objects based on size! Take a look at some of the sets we formed.
In Junior Infants we have been exploring the theme of Autumn. We went on an Autumn walk around the school grounds and found lots of lovely autumnal features which we added to our tuff tray in the classroom!
In Junior Infants, we have been exploring the theme of ‘Autumn’ as well as the theme of ‘People who help us’. We learnt a new poem as Gaeilge about leaves falling from the trees. You might like to practise this at home 🙂

Over the last few weeks Junior Infants have been copying and creating two part patterns. They used peg boards, books and physical materials to create various different patterns based on colour, size and type of material. Take a look at some of their creations! 🙂
